Attractive Mahogany cabinet has been stripped of its original finish and retains its four fluted corner columns with original gold capitals and bases – base is missing a foot. Has a round hole gold exhibition reproducer – the reproducer and tone have original gold plating that is well worn with several dents near rear of tone arm. The back bracket retains original paint, pinstripes along with original horn elbow hold down and thumbscrew, however, back bracket has been heavily recoated with some type of varnish. Original slotted winding crank and bullet brake are present and has early style, nickel plated 3-spring motor with ball bearing yielding turntable. Motor winds and runs. 20.5"L smooth mahogany horn with 18.5"D bell – it has been stripped and refinished with care taken to preserve original decal. Evidence of an old repair on outside as well as a long, running crack entire length of the horn. The coupler at the small end of horn is tight and has original horn elbow that has been replated. This machine being of the earliest production, the ID tag has the Arabic number 6 as opposed to Roman numeral VI. Measures: 15.5 X 15.5 X 8.5"H
