*NO Shipping! Pick up or Buyer arranged transport only!**This handsome machine with its elaborate carvings has its original mahogany finish. The cabinet features highly figured Laguna mahogany "book matched" which was applied to form diamond and V patterns on the front doors, as well as carved Louis XV inspired style gold embellishments. The original finish has been carefully and professionally cleaned, conserved and top coated and presents beautifully. The original "gilded" decorative details are nicely intact and retain their original beauty. Cabinet has all of its original gold finished hardware, original Victor wreath key as well as original cast iron casters. Cabinet also features a "Patent Applied For" decal on the internal horn, pull out record shelf as well as a full complement of the correct "box type" record storage albums letters I-J all of which have their original ring pulls and dividers; see photos. There is a pull out accessory drawer at the bottom of the record storage compartment. The rear of the cabinet with its frame and panel construction features a pull down access door. This rear door has a replacement knob. The tone arm, and gold round exhibition reproducer have their original gold finish with some minor wear and are in good original condition. The Exhibition reproducer features "round hole" needle chuck. The tone arm support is of the correct early two piece style with a gold thumb screw and is in very good condition. Retains its original gold finish bullet break as well as the correct early style needle cup. Has correct early "ratcheting" lid support which has evidence of being bent and straightened however works well. The cast iron yielding turntable has its original felt. Has original winding crank, which shows rust. Machine winds, runs and plays. Included are a full set of record albums. Cabinet measures 49"T x 21"W x 22.5"D. A good honest example of a rare "grail" machine, a must for a serious collector. You just don’t find them like this anymore.
