Description
The legendary Jimmy Lile designed knife is one of the very early production types. It has 10″ blade with parkerized steel finish and 15 1/4″ overall length.
Blade spine has 9 split sawteeth and 5 single sawteeth
The parkerized steel hilt with tie down holes and Phillips and flat screwdriver tips. Hollow stainless steel handle with black Nylon cord wrap and loose compass inside handle. Has knurled aluminum butt cap and
Black leather belt sheath with brass handled Eze-Lap sharpener which has much green verdigris oxidation. The back of sheath is marked “10” and has Johnson’s Leather Casselberry, FLA logo and shows some wear from sawteeth at opening. This one was sold in 1986 and has copy of check from Jimmy Lile to the previous owner as refund because of overpayment error. This is very desirable early example in excellent condition plus.
