Lot 2338:
This sword marked “E.A. Armstrong- 300 Wabash Ave Chicago. The entire marker mark is hard to see. Other side has image of bear. Blade double etched and appears to have to been reworked and darkened. Tip is blunted but not chips or nicks to blade. The gold repainted scabbard is missing both the drag cap and throat piece. Handle fittings have so play. The one crossguard clamshell is hinged and is missing lock. Purple/maroon knot is old and in good condition. Blade is 30″ and overall is 36”.
