This appears to be a very early M1902 pattern sword. Has double etched pattern blade and that has darkened and has major spotting discoloration to blade. Has much in/out wear. Maker/Distributor markings are “U.S. ARMY REGULATION STANDARD” over “AMERICAN MADE”. Exterior show much use and wear with bent crossguard tip and bent handguard. Blade is 30″ and overall is 36.25″. Interesting early example.
