This sword is from modern era 1960s to 2000s of unknown origin. The blade is 28″ and overall is 44″. It is in the style of a grand temple or royal sword. Blade has a faux damascus pattern and serial number 43251 on the copper habaki. Has two kozukas made of copper with pattern on only one side of one and the other does not come out. The fitting appear to be gold finish over light base metal. The handle has real clothe wrap with one fish menuki on each side. Wooden black lacquered scabbard has hanger fittings and drag of Samurai with sword and bow. The sword has artifical aging along with real aging and wear. Good display sword.
