Item Description: Striker release hand grenade fuze Type Designator/Model: M1916 Cal./Size: 1-inch diameter fuze body. OAL is 3 ¼-inches Color: Unpainted. Manufacturer: Unknown. Country of Origin: France. Long Description: A WWI era fuze used on a variety of French hand grenades. This fuze example is in excellent condition. There are no markings on the fuze body or safety handle. The threading on both are very clean.
