1) Item Description: Cylindrical practice hand grenade body with rounded ends
Type Designator/Model: DM 38 A1. Cal./Size: 3 ?-inches in diameter and the body is 4 ?-inches tall. Color: Light blue. Manufacturer: BUCK Chemisch-Technische Werke. Country of Origin: Germany. Trainer: Yes. Long Description: The plastic body has a series of eight raised ridges around it. The fuze is present, but it has been cut off. Can no doubt be glued back together. Markings cast into the plastic body are “HGR ÜB DM 38 A1; LOS”. Following the word “LOS” (which means LOT) are the markings “BCK-10-53” in white. 2) Item Description: Small aluminum can with a plastic insert. Type Designator/Model: Unknown
Cal./Size: 2 ¼-inches in diameter and 3-inches high Color: Unpainted aluminum with red tape around it. Manufacturer: Unknown. Country of Origin: France.
Long Description: One half, top missing, of the carrier for a French grenade fuze. A black plastic insert holds the fuze safely. There are no markings. 3)Item Description: Shipping box for four M72 fragmentation hand grenades. Type Designator/Model: M72
Cal./Size: 8 ?-inches wide, 4 ½-inches deep and 3 ½-inches high. Color: Olive green with yellow markings.

Country of Origin: Germany. Long Description: A snap off top designed to be opened with a tape hinge. The hinge is off the body, but is inside it. The only marking is “Diehl” cast into the body. The rounded body has one large flat surface. It is not know what grenade this is designed to carry. Time period is unknown.
