Color: Black. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Yes. Long Description: There is a hole in the base of the body covered with black tape. There are no legible markings on the body and none on the fuze. There is no “Jungle clip” on the fuze although the groove in the lower fuze body is there to accept one. Five strips of rough rubberized material have been glued on the body. They were placed by Picatinny Arsenal during experiments to improve the grip of the grenades when throwing them. 2) Item Description: Round smooth bodied practice hand grenade

Color: Dark green with a blue fuze safety handle with a brown end. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Yes. Long Description: There is a hole in the base of the body. There are no markings on the body. The fuze markings are “FUZE M228; MEI090; 109-003”. There is no “Jungle clip” on the fuze although the groove in the lower fuze body is there to accept one. Cast into the body of the fuze is “MEI-M”. 3) Item Description: Rounded “baseball” practice hand grenade. Type Designator/Model: Practice grenade for the M67. Not the because there is no jungle clip on the fuze. Cal./Size: 2 ½-inches in diameter and 3 ½-inches high. Color: Olive green body. Light blue fuze safety handle with the end painted brown. Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Yes. Long Description: Cast one-piece body with a hole in the base. There are no markings on the body. Printed in black on the top of the fuze safety handle is “FUZE M228; MEI82D; 013-005”.
