Description
This Silver Star is named to Chicago man, 1st Lt. Sydney K. Jones who served in WWI in the 122nd Field Artillery of the 33rd Division. This unnumbered WWII era Silver Star must have been requested by Jones well after the war. It came from the family estate and they didn’t have much more information. Has case and and lapel pin. Back edge of case is peeling. This has some research possibilities.
