Description
This US WWI Trench Knife M1917 made by ACC and dated 1917 on inside of handguard. Has very clean triangular 9? black steel blade with in/out wear. The wood grip shows some dings. The guard retains nearly all of the original finish, and shows only very slight wear. The top of the guard is nicely maker marked. The manufacturer of this piece, A.C. CO. This WWI Trench Knife M1917 is complete with an amazing original leather scabbard. The scabbard is well marked, with the maker and date “JEWELL – 1918” as well as “M.S.” on the throat and “M.S.” on the bottom tip. Scabbard is excellent condition and knife is in very good condition.
