1) Item Description: Large ribbed plastic bodied hand or rifle grenade. Type Designator/Model: DS Multi-Purpose Grenade Cal./Size: 3 ¼-inches in diameter and 6 ?-inches high Color: Red with a blue base. Manufacturer: Aircraft Armaments, Inc., Cockeysville, MD. Country of Origin: United States. Long Description: The body has small longitudinal grooves. The base is pre-rifled to fit the launcher cup. There is a pivoting arm on the top of the grenade to adjust the time of either 2 or 5 seconds. The striker release fuze is unmarked. A paper label on the upper body is marked” Model DS; Contains 110 grams CS Tear Gas; IRRITANT AGENT DISPENSER; the AAI logo; Instruction for use; and other information.
