Item Description: Grenade projection adapter with four prongs. Type Designator/Model: M1. Cal./Size: 1-inch diameter boom and 7 ½-inches long. Color: Green with yellow markings Manufacturer: Lowell Ordnance Plant Country of Origin: United States. Long Description: Cylindrical tail boom with three sets of double fins. There are four spring clips to hold the grenade body in place. The rectangular metal slide to secure the fuze safety handle is missing. Markings stenciled on the boom are “ADAPTER, GRENADE; PROJECTION, M1; LOT-LM-12; 1944”. Minor rust present.
