Trainer: Yes. Long Description: The cast body has a hole in the base and a ridge around the center to simulate the crimp on the M26 series grenades. Cast into the body are the markings “RFX 55; T9”. The blue fuze safety handle is marked “FUZE M205A2; OPI-6-41; 6-65”. on the top. The end of the handle is painted red. The plug from the base is missing. Long Description: The cast body has a hole in the base and a ridge around the center to simulate the crimp on the M26 series grenades. Cast into the body are the markings “RFX 54; B7”. There are faint white stenciled markings on the body. The only legible part is “LOT LS 72-8″. The RFX on the body is the maker’s code for the Richmond Foundry & Manufacturing Company. The body was made there, but the grenade was assembled at Lone Star. There are no markings on the fuze safety handle except the end of the handle is painted red. The plug from the base is missing. The striker, striker spring and the pin holding the striker are missing.
