There are six small emission holes in the top of the body and one large one in the base. The fuze is not marked. Markings on the body are “RELOADABLE DIVERSIONARY DEVICE; STEEL; manufacturer’s, warning, instructional, and caution data”. 2) Small aluminum cylindrical bodied diversionary device. Type Designator/Model: ALS09NR Cal./Size: 1 ¾-inches in diameter and 4 ½-inches high Color: Black with white markings Manufacturer: AMTEC Less Lethal Systems. Country of Origin: United States. This grenade body is basically hollow. There is a large opening in the base and three slot-like openings on the top. The clear plastic container for the energetic material attached to the fuze is visible from the base. The fuze is not marked. Markings on the body are “SINGLE USE; DIVERSIONARY DEVICE; ALS09NR; danger, directions, caution, storage and manufacturer’s data”. Rarely seen for sale.
