Antique Brunswick Billiard Chalk Counterweight, Brunswick-Balke-Collender cast iron shield served as a gravity weight in an overhead pulley system, a player pulled down the attached holder to chalk their pool cue, the weight automatically retracted the chalk back up into a hovering position above the table, kept the billiard cloth clean and ensured the chalk was always within arm’s reach, nice dark patina, no flaking, pitting or rust, suspension loop is intact, string shows age-related discoloration, cube chalk holder is rusty, but intact, good condition, see photos. 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ Love this unique, period-accurate, early branded company memorabilia!
