Vintage Halsey Taylor Pedestal Drinking Fountain, one of the most prominent and historic American manufacturers of water coolers and drinking fountains founded in Warren, OH, 1912, signature bubbler head design, common fixture in schools, train stations and parks throughout the mid-20th century, classic, thick white porcelain-enameled cast iron china bowl, slender pedestal post mounted to floor base, original chrome-plated faucet/spigot assembly, original ID tag stamped Model #2637, Serial #134580, Patent #1607519 and 1878178, bubbler spigot is present, but mechanism to turn the water on is missing, no mounting bolt or drain pipe, bowl has some chips, pole is rusty with some corrosion, fair condition, see photos. 36″ x 10″ This would make a great decorative garden bird bath!
