(4) Slide-Hammer Nail Puller & Anchor Plates includes an antique tool designed specifically for opening heavy wooden shipping crates, manufactured by Bridgeport Hardware Co and Crescent Tool Co, the pointed jaws split to straddle the nail head, lean the entire long handle over, the curved foot acts as a high-leverage fulcrum to effortlessly roll the nail straight out of the wood, fair, weathered antique condition, heavy layer of surface rust, structurally sound, also includes three cast iron star anchor plates used as a massive washer on the outside of the masonry walls to anchor the tie rods, a large nut was screwed onto the end and tightened down, when rods were heated, they expanced tightening the nuts which would physically pull the bowing brick walls back inward, stabilizing the entire building, the five-pointed star was used to distribute the clamping pressure across a much wider surface area of the masonry, age-related wear, surface rust, no cracks, good condition. Nice home decor, garden accents or worshop displays. The nail puller works well as an industrial door handle, rustic, coat rack or a steampunk desk lamp base.
