Antique German Magic Lantern Image Projector, pre-cinema image projector manufactured in Nuremberg, Germany, late 1890s-1900s, produced as a toy or home entertainment, made of red painted tin cylinder body on a stand and wooden base, brass lens tube, comes in its original wooden storage box, with paper label on door, depicts a family watching a projected show, internal oil kerosene lamp acted as the light source, painted glass slide strips were slotted through the gap behind the lens to project colorful illustration onto a wall or screen, no slides included, lettering on thumbwheel reads “WEINER FLACHBRENNER”, age-related wear, dents and dings, missing glass chimney tube, side peephole window is intact, fair condition, see photos.
