Description
Antique German Tobacco Leaf Cutter, dates around 1890 to 1910, used to shred dried tobacco leaves into fine shag cuts for pipes or rolling, leaves are placed flat on the upper wooden feed tray, turning the hand-cranked flywheel at the bottom advances a set of feeding rollers, pushing the tobacco through the cast iron gate where a hidden internal blade cuts it, inscription reads “GES. GESCHUTZT”, meaning “Legally Protected” or “Patented”, has the letter “M” in center on both sides, good condition, see photos. 9 3/8″ x 8″
