Description
Circa 1900 celluloid owl head bell in VG condition. These bells were given away to cigar stores as promotional items but were so often stolen that they were discontinued. Bell winds up and rings when the beak is pushed down. Works well. Shows light wear. Measures approx 4″ X 4″ X 2″. Comes with a small vintage handmade sign on a stand advising customers to push the owl’s beak for service, an older box of White Owl cigars with old unwrapped cigars, and a small vintage advertisement advertising the Owl CIGAR store. Don’t know if there is any connection.
