Description

This stunning Art Nouveau desk piece serves as a dual-function lamp and clock, likely dating to the early 20th century (circa 1910-1920). The cast metal base (likely spelter), finished in a rich patinated gold tone, features ornate foliate scrollwork, grape cluster motifs, and a striking moth or butterfly embossed on the lower tier. It is paired with a beautiful iridescent art glass shade, possibly Quezal or Steuben in style, showcasing a yellow pulled-feather or “king tut” pattern with a ruffled rim. The integrated clock features a classic dial with stylized Arabic numerals. While the glass shade is complete, it exhibits hairline cracks throughout. The metal base shows typical surface wear and aged patina consistent with its century of use. The clock is currently non-operational, and the electrical components remain untested. H 12″, W 6″, D 8.5″. Please see photos for condition.
