The Top 300! - Spring Classic Part 2
Lot 30b:
Description
Here is a lot of 1960’ Seagram’s Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey “Fifth” bottles, complete with their iconic purple felt bags and original retail boxes. One bottle retains its original 1964-dated Canadian tax stamp (No. 16596291), while the other features a Joseph E. Seagram & Sons Limited seal. Both bottles are unopened and the seals are all intact. The contents of the bottles appear to be full, with one bottle showing some “angel’s sharing.” The glass remains clear on both bottles, with no chips, and the labels are remarkably well-preserved. The purple bags remain vibrant. Also included is an original Crown Royal “Blue Box” with a certificate of registration. While most modern Crown Royal bottles come in a purple box, these blue box versions were common from the late 1950s through the early 1970s. All the boxes show edge wear and light scuffing consistent with age and storage. This is a fantastic time capsule of early Crown Royal spirits and a “shelf-ready” collection for any spirits collector. Please see photos for overall condition.
Box: 8.5″ x 5.5″ x 3.25″
