Coin Op & Advertising - Spring Classic Part 1 - Day 3
Lot 2389a:
Description
This is a quintessential piece of corporate advertising memorabilia from the Casablanca Fan Company, a brand that defined the high-end Victorian and Art Deco revival aesthetic of the late 20th century. Produced by the Hensley Co. Inc. in South Pasadena, California, in 1983, the sign features vibrant reverse-painted graphics on glass, showcasing the “World’s Finest” ceiling fans with intricate gold-tone and red scrollwork. The central oval vignette highlights a classic fan model, emphasizing the brand’s reputation for quality. The glass is housed in a substantial, deep-grain oak frame that captures the era’s design preferences perfectly. Based on the images, the piece is in very good vintage condition; the glass appears clear with no visible chips or fading, and the frame shows only light surface wear and minor scuffing at the miters. H 14.75″, W 29.5″, D 1.5″. Please see photos for condition.
