Coin Op & Advertising - Spring Classic Part 1 - Day 3
Lot 2381b:
Description
This quintessential piece of American Golden Oak furniture, dating circa 1890–1910, features an ornate “press-back” splat with classic scrolled motifs and a traditional woven cane seat. The chair is constructed from solid oak, showcasing a rich patina and period-correct turned spindle supports and armrests. While the swinging feeding tray is no longer present, the chair retains its original charm and historical character as a piece of turn-of-the-century nursery Americana. The item is in fair antique condition with visible scuffs to the finish, minor fraying on the cane, and a significant vertical structural crack on the rear right seat frame member visible from the underside.
