Vintage Maritime Ship’s Compass, manufactured by E.E. Ritchie & Sons, Pembroke, MA, features a binnacle housing with traditional compensating spheres used to adjust magnetic interference, “Kelvin’s balls” made of soft iron, unit is typically part of a larger binnacle stand, missing glass over the top, age-appropriate patina, see photos.
