Lot of 11 Native American stereoview cards by photographer F.A. Rinehart of Omaha Nebraska. These cards are from series 335 and the right image of each card has been hand tinted all cards are in good+ to VG condition.
Frank Albert Rinehart (February 12, 1861 – December 17, 1928) was an American photographer who captured Native American personalities and scenes, especially portrait settings of leaders and members of the delegations who attended the 1898 Indian Congress in Omaha. After the Indian Congress, Rinehart travelled the Indian reservations for two years, capturing images of Native American leaders who had not attended the event, as well as depicting general aspects of the indigenous everyday life and culture. His works are in the collections of museums and institutions including the National Gallery of the Smithsonian.
