The Only Thing You Have to Fear is… a lifelike vintage FDR wax hollow head. This striking, life-sized hollow wax head depicting the 32nd U.S. President, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, is a fascinating artifact of mid-20th-century display craftsmanship. Likely produced for historical exhibition, museum, or theatrical use, the piece exhibits the characteristic realistic tinting and applied hair fibers typical of high-quality wax mannequins from this era. The interior casting marks, including a hand-noted “56,” suggest it was part of a specific collection or production series. The condition is excellent for its age; the wax remains structurally sound with no significant cracks, showing only minor surface scuffs and minuscule, age-appropriate scratches commensurate with handling.
