A 13.25″ diameter lithographed tray advertising “Cold Storage” Ice Cream Guaranteed Pure and showing sliced Neapolitan ice cream on a plate. The edge of the picture is marked Copyright 1908 The Meek Co. 96. This would be the number for this stock tray that could be branded for any ice cream company. In 1908, The Meek Company was a major advertising manufacturer in Coshocton, Ohio, famously known for its high-quality lithographed tin trays, signs, and novelties. This particular year was a major turning point as the founder, Jasper Meek, retired from the firm he had built into a global leader in promotional products. In overall good+ to VG condition with some edge chipping of the paint and a scuff near the top of the picture.
