Description
This charming collection features 15 distinct vintage items, showcasing a variety of mid-20th-century playthings and collectibles. Highlighted by the iconic “Spudsie” hot potato game timer produced by the Ohio Art Company—a mechanical wind-up classic that remains a favorite for nostalgic collectors—this lot also includes a blue wooden policeman figure, a blue wooden cylinder case containing several vintage pencils, a painted wooden toy boat, two miniature die-cast model cars, a small metal field cannon, a decorative heraldic flag, four small metal animal/creature figures, a jointed wooden bird-like figure, and a small metal hand bell. The items exhibit varying levels of age-appropriate wear; notably, while the Spudsie timer is in working condition, it features a seam repair with tape. Other pieces show scuffs on the wooden components, patina on the metal pieces, and paint loss consistent with active vintage play. Overall, the collection is in good, displayed condition for its age.
