Description
A framed pastel on paper portrait of a young girl by American artist A. Weic, signed and dated 1931 in the lower right corner. This lot is in poor condition with a one-inch tear in the background upper right, some acid burn throughout the paper, a crack to the paper in the lower right corner, loose pieces in the frame, and significant mat stain or burn. The frame has losses to its decoration and the artwork will need to be properly re-set within it. The paper measures 19″ x 15″ and the frame measures 27″ x 22″.
