Description
Vintage Arnold Steam Sterilizer, produced by Wilmot Castle & Co, originally patented as a grain steamer, but was widely used for sterilizing medical, dental and laboratory instruments, features a cylindrical cover embossed with “The Arnold Steam Sterilizer Pat. May 9, 1882”, consists of a large tin cover that fits over an inner chamber, all sitting within a water-filled basin, a critical tool for preventing the spread of diseases like typhoid and tuberculosis through contaminated milk, good condition, see photos.
