Description
The Electro-Hoist is a vintage coin-operated “digger” or crane machine manufactured by Star Machine Manufacturers, Inc. between 1931 and 1939. Known for its elegant Art Deco cabinetry and mechanical crane mechanism, it was one of the early predecessors to the modern claw machines found in arcades today.
This deco style arcade machine has an older restoration. All trim and hardware is painted silver. This has the lower storage stand with the deco cast iron base trim. Missing top front decorative trim panel. Missing side cover panel. Has front storage door, no lock. Looks to be fairly complete. Item needs some restoring. Not working. Overall fair condition.
