Description
A classic American deer rifle, this Marlin Model 336 is chambered in the .30-.30-30 WIN. and features the highly regarded Micro-Groove barrel. The serial number 25018627 dates this piece to approximately 1975, a golden era for Marlin craftsmanship. The walnut stock shows a deep, rich grain, and the blued finish remains remarkably crisp. Condition is excellent with minimal field wear, showing only light handling marks on the wood and faint thinning on the high edges of the receiver. It comes with a very nice Leupold Vari-X II 2×7 scope, which the optics are clean and clear. Bore and rifling are in great condition. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. The firearm also includes a leather shoulder sling, and a robust leather cartridge belt in excellent condition.
