Description
Springfield M1898 Krag Rifle. Caliber .30-40 Krag. Rifle has been sporterized by cutting the stock down and adding to the comb and grip, as well as removing the factory sights. Barrel has been changed to civilian aftermarket, and is missing rear sight. Barrel is unmarked, and has dark bore, but strong rifling. Caliber is presumed to still be .30-40 Krag, but should be checked by gunsmith before firing. Nice 1950s Deer rifle or parts source. See photos.
