Description
Springfield Model 1896 Krag Rifle. Caliber .30-40 Krag. Rifle is still in full military configuration with no modifications. Full length barrel and wood stock are in good condition for age with some surface rust and lots of dings and scratches from age and use. Receiver still has some original finish left and barrel has dark bore but good rifling. Rifle has later M1907 pattern sling that is unmarked. Excellent Spanish American War collector item.
