Description
Italian Carcano Model 91/38 Moschetto, manufactured at the R.E. Terni arsenal in 1940 Chambered in the standard 6.5x52mm Carcano as denoted by the “CAL 6.5″ stamp, this carbine features a matching serial number T 5662 across the barrel and stock. The walnut stock bears a visible Terni cartouche and includes the original steel buttplate, though the internal cleaning kit trapdoor is currently missing from the assembly. While the folding bayonet is no longer present on this specimen, the mounting lug remains intact. The metalwork retains a deep, dark blued finish, and the wood shows characteristic field wear including small dings, surface compressions, and service-related abrasions. The seller reports the bore is in excellent condition with strong, clean rifling. H 5″, W 1.75″, D 40.25”. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N T5662. C&R Eligible.
