Description
Thompson/Center Arms BP Hawken Rifle K69877 (A)
Thompson/Center Arms percussion muzzleloader, manufactured in Rochester, New Hampshire. A fine example of a modern reproduction “Hawken” style rifle, it features a heavy octagonal .50 caliber barrel, a rich walnut stock with a brass patch box, and a color case-hardened lock plate boasting ornate scroll engraving. The brass furniture, including the buttplate and trigger guard, provides a classic frontier aesthetic, and it comes equipped with an adjustable rear sight and wooden ramrod. The rifle is in good overall condition, showing some light surface oxidation on the barrel and minor handling marks/scuffs on the wood finish. Bore is clean and rifling is strong.
