Description
Italian Model 1870/87/15 rifle. Vetterli pattern rifle made in 1890 and converted during WWI to fire 6.5 Carcano ammunition. Conversion was done by Italian military and involved lining the barrel and using a converted Carcano magazine body. Rifle is in very good condition for age with lots of original bluing and many stock cartouches still very strong and legible. Full length original barrel has dark bore, but strong rifling. Excellent WWI collectible firearm. See photos.
