Description
US Springfield model 1896 Krag rifle. Krag Jorgenson infantry rifle has been sporterized by cutting down the barrel to 24″, replacing the factory rear sight with a flip pattern and replacing the stock with a civilian sporting pattern wooden stock with rubber buttplate. Rifle is in fair condition for age with expected finish wear and has good bore with strong rifling, and is presumed to still be chambered in .30-40 Krag. Excellent hunting rifle as-is. See photos.
