Description

This Belgian-made Fabrique Nationale (FN) Browning Hi-Power was produced during the German occupation of World War II, as evidenced by the faint “Waffenamt” inspection stamps found on the barrel and frame. While the pistol features its original checkered wood grips, it has been treated to a post war high-polish chrome plating, a common practice for “veteran bring-backs,” which has covered a lot of the markings. The firearm displays serial numbers 193116 on the barrel and partial number “19” on the frame. The plating is in overall good condition, showing scattered surface scratches and minor scuffing. The wooden grips remain in good condition with minor handling wear to the finish. Bore is clean and rifling is strong. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Included with the firearm are two, post war magazines. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N:193116 C&R Eligible.
