This is a SIG Sauer SIG556R (Russian) semi-automatic rifle, a specialized variant of the SIG556 platform chambered in 7.62x39mm. Designed to bridge the gap between Swiss precision and the rugged utility of the AK-47, this “Gen 2″ model features a reinforced steel magazine well designed to accept standard AK-pattern magazines. It further features a gas-operated, long-stroke piston system, a 16-inch military-grade barrel with a 1:9.5″ twist rate, and high-strength carbon steel upper receiver with a wear-resistant Nitron finish. The firearm is in excellent, lightly used condition with minimal signs of wear or handling marks on the finish. The bore and rifling are in great condition. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Included with the rifle is a black tactical sling, five magazines, and the original factory box with foam inserts.
