Description
Manufactured between 1932-1939, the Winchester 60A Sport was a very accurate entry level rifle intended for youth training, varmint hunting and just straight up plinking. Only around 6,100 were produced, which makes this little .22 quite collectible. Chambered in .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle, this versatile rifle has a 23” barrel and is a single shot, bolt action. The wood stock is solid, showing light nicks and scratches for use and storage. It has an original plastic Winchester butt plate. Metal parts show light wear and exhibit remnants of the original factory finish. Bore is sharp and bright. The trigger and action are tight and function properly. Overall, this 80+ year old gun is in very good condition and great first gun to teach a child. Please see photos for overall condition.
