Description
Here is “ac43” Walther P38 pistol with matching numbers. Manufactured between July and August of 1943, this chrome plated P38 displays the serial number “9081 h” on the slide, frame, barrel, and locking block. The Waffenamt proof, “Eagle/359” is stamped into the left side of the frame and right side of the slide. There are no import marks. Its post war chrome plating is in good condition, with minor surface scratches and two small areas of plating fade (right side of the slide). The black plastic grips are in good condition, showing minimal wear. Bore is clean and rifling is good with some rounding. Comes with three magazines, one that is chrome plated and marked with “E/88” on the right side and “jvd” on the left side of the magazine. Serial number “6280 c” is stamped on the floor plate. The two additional magazines are post war production. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: 9081 h.
