Description
Mint Smith & Wesson Model CS40 (Chief Special) semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40S&W. This compact pistol was manufactured from 1999 to 2002 and designed as a concealed carry and law enforcement backup. It is known for its reliability and manageable recoil for the caliber. It features a bobbed hammer to prevent catching on clothing, an alloy frame providing a robust platform to help with recoil management, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a Fixed low-mount 3-dot sight. This particular pistol has one 7-round magazine, a carrying case and beautiful wood grips which are in great condition. The two-tone finish is in excellent condition. Bore and rifling are both good. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: TDS0063
