Description
Here is gorgeous Colt 1911 Gold Cup National Match Pistol with the original box. First introduced in 1957, it was a factory-ready evolution of the National Match 1911s used in competitive bullseye shooting. The Gold Cup variation is widely recognized for its precision match-grade barrel, adjustable sights, and a wide, hand-tuned trigger designed for repeatability and accuracy. This particular pistol was manufactured in 1966 and features a 5-inch National Match stainless steel barrel and an Elliason rear adjustable sight. The finish is a classic blued carbon steel on both the slide and frame. Finish is 98% with some light marks and edge wear from storage. Wood grips are mint with no visible wear. Bore and rifling are excellent in excellent condition. Comes with one 8-round magazine. The original box does show age and wear from heavy shelf/storage life. The lid is missing a panel. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: 19028-NM. C&R Eligible.
