Description
This single action, .32 W.C.F. caliber revolver features a 4.75-inch barrel. It was a classic choice for the turn-of-the-century sportsman and target shooter. It was manufactured in 1904 by Colt’s PT. F. A. Mfg. Co. in Hartford, CT. The left side of the frame displays clear patent inscriptions: “PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871.”, “JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75.”, with the Colt logo visible. The barrel has the inscription, “BISLEY MODEL 32 W.C.F” and “COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. Co / HARTFORD.CT. U.S.A.” The revolver features a silver, case-hardened finish and shows light oxidation and handling marks. The slightly worn hard grips show the Colt emblem and have checkering. The serial number “258445” is inscribed on the frame, trigger guard, and the butt of the frame. The bore is clean, and the rifling groves are prominent. The action and trigger are smooth and tight.
