Description
First introduced in 1950, the Model 36 was specifically designed to handle the more powerful .38 Special round in a concealable package for law enforcement. It featured a 1.88-inch barrel, a 5-round cylinder and wood diamond grips with the S&W emblem. This particular revolver was manufactured between 1963 to 1966 and has a nice, blued finish with some wear visible on the straps. The wood grips are in good condition, with minor wear and marks. Bore is clean and rifling is good. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: 413393 C&R Eligible.
