Here is a commercial reproduction of the classic World War II military rifle, an Israel Arms International (IAI) M1 Carbine. Manufactured in Houston, Texas, these carbines were built using a combination of surplus military parts and newly machined components, specifically the receiver, barrel, and operating rod. This particular rifle is a Commemorative World War II model, which features an aluminum medallion recessed into the butt stock. The walnut stock is in very good condition, with a small chip near the grip cap. Handguard does not match the stock, however, it features the later four rivet style guard and is in good condition. Metal parts retain 90% of their finish, with wear/fade noticeable on the bayonet lug. Bore and rifling are in great condition. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Comes with on 30-round magazine. Please see photos for overall condition. S/N: M888-R207927
