Description
Known as a “Trade Brand Name” shotgun, this American Gun Company Victor Ejector was manufactured by Crescent Firearms Company around 1923. These guns, before 1940, were sold wholesale by the H & D Folsom Company of New York City a large wholesale, retail, and distributor of guns and sporting goods. This particular shotgun, is a single barrel shotgun, chambered in .410g. It has matching stock and forestock, which is in excellent condition for being over 100 years old. Inside the stock, under the buttplate is a handwritten note dating 1956 from the original owner counting out their hunting activity that year. The barrel shows much of the original finish, and the receiver has a nice dark patina from age and use, but no sign of oxidation. Bore is clean. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. Please see photos for overall condition S/N: 547155. C&R Eligible.
